Enable Schema.org JSON-LD for your storefront.

Citewise renders Organization and Product structured data through Shopify theme app extensions.

Organization schema

  1. Open Citewise in Shopify admin.
  2. Go to AI Setup, then Schema.
  3. Enable Organization schema.
  4. Add your organization name, logo URL, contact information, and social profile URLs.
  5. Save the settings.
  6. Open Shopify theme editor and enable the Citewise or GEO app embed if prompted.

Product schema

  1. Open Shopify admin, then Online Store, then Themes.
  2. Click Customize on your active theme.
  3. Open a product template.
  4. Add an Apps section or app block.
  5. Select the Citewise or GEO Product schema app section.
  6. Save and publish the theme changes.

How to verify

In Citewise, run Schema coverage from the Schema page. You can also open a product page, view page source, and search for application/ld+json and Product.

Notes

  • Organization schema is sitewide and depends on saved Organization settings.
  • Product schema appears only on product pages where the app section is present.
  • FAQ and Review schema are not injected in the current version.
